Government is here to provide basic services like police, fire, water and sewage. If the extra money isn't there for fireworks it may be disappointing but that's life. I'd rather governments, (local, State and federal) be fiscally responsible than spend money it doesn't have.

I've been a Mac user for 20 years. But Apple's lack of a mid sized mid range computer that is easy to open and has some internal expansion room is making me consider switching to Windows. The iMac is something I will never own. Too many limitations.

Internet advertising isn't very effective on me. Probably because I don't buy anything unless I need it. And when I need something I usually already have a good idea of what I want in regards to brand and features. I'm not an impulse buyer. I think things through somethings too much.

Countries are tearing down forest to put up wind turbines, covering land with solar panels and now even putting wind turbines on the water. I'm not surprised that biodiversity is down. "Green" energy is the worst thing for taking up land.

We need to say no to the UN too. And stop giving aid to other countries. Let's take care of ourselves. Only butt into other nations business when they do something to us. Then let us hit them back so hard they learn not to mess with us again.

Sorry. This should be up to the individual States. The federal government has already taken away too many of the States rights. It is time to stop the power grab in Washington, D.C.

California has jumped into the President's green and social policies more than any other State. As a result California is losing businesses and jobs and getting deeper into debt.
